IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Isaac Terrell
King, Jr.
October 6, 2009 – January 27, 2026
Isaac Terrell King Jr., aged 16, of Kansas City, Kansas, was called to his eternal rest on Tuesday, January 27, 2026.
Born on October 6, 2009 to Isaac Terrell King, Sr. and Kendra Vondell Heard, he was a beacon of joy and light to all who knew him. Isaac was lovingly known by his affectionate nicknames, "Pooh" and "Little Ike."
A young man of many passions, Isaac found delight in the world of animation, with favorites including "Spiderman," "Bubble Guppies," and "SpongeBob SquarePants." His enthusiasm extended to the realm of video gaming, where he reveled in the adventures of "MINECRAFT," "NBA2K," "Mortal Combat," "Roblox," and "Fortnite." Isaac's love of food was evident in his fondness for McDonald's and TAKIS, but nothing compared to that home-cooked meal by momma and grandma.
Isaac's days were often filled with laughter and excitement of YouTube channels, particularly those of Cory X. Kenshin and FGTEEV. Red was the color he held dearest, and his support for the Golden State Warriors never wavered. An exemplary student, Isaac's academic achievements were a testament to his diligence and intelligence.
Above all, Isaac cherished the moments spent with his beloved family. Whether it was bowling or gathering for holidays, these occasions created treasured memories that will forever be held close by his loved ones.
Isaac is predeceased by his father, Isaac Terrell King, Sr. He leaves behind a loving family: his mother Kendra Vondell Heard of Clayton, NC; sister Heaven King of Kansas, NC; brothers Corey Heard of Clayton, NC, and Cortez Heard of Raleigh, NC; maternal grandparents Ola "Elaine" Bynum of Raleigh, NC, and Kennon Heard and his wife Varonia of Kansas City, Kansas; paternal grandparents Johnnie and Rhonda King of Kansas City, Kansas; paternal great-grandmother Minnie Kirk Kansas City, NC; uncle Keylan Jones of Raleigh, NC; niece Zaria Heard of Clayton, NC; cousin Anthony Davis of North Carolina; and a multitude of extended family and dear friends.
A gathering to honor and celebrate Isaac's life will be held on Friday, February 6, 2026, from 11:45 a.m. until 1:45 p.m. at Montlawn Funeral Home.
The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Montlawn Funeral Home, officiated by the Reverend Tyler Williams.
Isaac's radiant spirit and loving memory will be forever cherished by all who were blessed to know him.
"We will miss you dearly, your love and kindness will remain in our hearts forever."
