Jack Wayne Roberts, age 85, passed on August 12th, 2023, in Holly Springs, North Carolina.Jack was a devoted husband to his predeceased wife, Madeline and is survived by his nephews Peter James Scelia, and John O'Neill along with his wife Kathy and sons John Jr and his wife Jessica and daughters, Chris and his wife Jana, Timothy, Nicholas and James.

Jack was born on May 22nd, 1938, in Tampa, Florida to parents Lorraine Richards and Elbert William Roberts.

Jack served as a Specialist Private First Class (SP4 E-4) in the United States Army from August 20th, 1958 and was honorably discharged July 31st, 1961 with an Expert (Carbine) Good Conduct Medal. He also patented the upright strawberry planter.

A burial blessing ceremony is scheduled for Jack on Friday, August 18th, 2023, at 12:00pm and will be at Montlawn Funeral Home and Cemetery in Raleigh, NC.
