Jacqueline Dale, beloved sister of Diana (Bobby) Thomas, Robert (Davida) Dale, Kathleen Dale and Rachel (Stan) Hollenbach, made a smooth transition on April 1, 2017 in Cary, NC.

Jacqueline was predeceased by her parents, Robert Lee and Hazel H. Dale of Jacksonville Beach, Florida, formerly of Durham and Fuquay-Varina, NC, and her infant daughter, Diana Hillary.

She is survived by her nieces and nephews, Tara (Michael) Critcher, Allen (Bo) Thomas and William (Joan) Thomas, Briana Dale, Brayton and Ethan Hollenbach, as well as 11 great nieces and nephews.

A North Carolina native, Jacqueline lived in New York City, California and finally in Carrboro, NC, and her beloved Fearrington Village in Pittsboro, NC. She enjoyed singing with the Fearrington Voices, reading, walking, traveling, and loved nature in all its forms. Her family and friends were her joys. Everyone will remember her generous spirit.

Jacqueline and her family greatly appreciated the caregiving by niece and nephew, Joan and William Thomas and sister, Diana Thomas. Thank you for the love and support shown by Transitions LifeCare, HomeWatch caregivers, Ida, Neema, MyKayla and Waltonwood in Cary, NC.
