Jacquelyn "Jackie" Denton Liverman, 95, was called to her eternal home on December 1, 2021.
Jackie was born to the late Elmo Pettigrew Denton and Lillian Massey Denton in Zebulon, North Carolina. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 53 years, Herbert and her 12 siblings, Staley, Hurley, Raymond, Ruby, Talmadge, Pat, Willard, Mary, Brooks, Hilliard, Allan and Dorothy.
Left to mourn her loss are numerous nieces, nephews and cousins, and a host of friends.
Jackie was active in her church, taught Sunday school, worked diligently on her family geneology, worked tirelessly in her yard, organized a large family reunion for years, was employed and retired from the N.C. Department of Motor Vehicles. She loved music and to sing, dogs and most of all she loved her family and friends and had a special and unique relationship with all.
Her motto was "It takes a family".
Family and friends will gather on Saturday, December 4, 2021 from 12:00 noon until 1:00 PM in the chapel at Montlawn Funeral Home in Raleigh, North Carolina. A graveside service will follow at 1:00 PM at Montlawn Cemetery at the same location.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Dementia Society of America or to the Humane Society.
