Obituary of James Adams
James Paul Adams, Jr., 85, went home to be with his Lord on May 21, 2014 at his home.
James was born in Warren County to the late James and Maxine Adams.
He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Peggy; daughter, Michelle Poole and husband, Chip of Apex; son, Kevin Adams and wife Melissa of Fuquay-Varina; sister, Bertie Murray of Louisburg.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Clifton Adams.
The family will receive family and friends from 1:00 -2:00 pm Saturday with the funeral service beginning at 2:00 pm in Montlawn Funeral Home Chapel. Entombment will follow at Montlawn Memorial Park Mausoleum.
The family would like to thank the staff at Rex Cancer Center and the excellent team of Dr. Jeffrey Crane as well as the staff at Transitions LifeCare, formerly Hospice of Wake County.
