Obituary of James Cain
James (Jimmy) Cain, 62, passed away on Saturday February 15, 2014.
He was born in High Point, NC on October 17, 1951 to the late Fannie Elizabeth Nelson. Jimmy graduated from High Point Central High School in 1971. On May 29, 1970 he married his high school sweetheart, Lois Branon.
Jimmy was preceded in death by his father, William Nelson and sister, Faye Chadwell.
Surviving are his wife of 43 years, Lois B. Cain; children, Marc Cain of Graham, NC and Allison Dorton and husband John of Graham, NC; sisters, Rebecca McKinney of Simpsonville, SC and Mary Vestal of High Point, NC; brothers, Jerry "Sammy" Cain and wife Belinda of Chattanooga, TN and Ervin "Peanut" Cain of Sophia, NC.
At Jimmy's request, there is no public service scheduled.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Children's Miracle Network, c/o Duke Children's Hospital, 2301 Erwin Road, Durham, NC 27710.
