Obituary of James Ellis
James Dwight Ellis, 75, passed away on Tuesday after a brief illness. He was a retired electrician with NC State University.
Funeral services will be held 11 am Thursday at Montlawn Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Montlawn Memorial Park.
He is survived by his wife, Anne Smith Ellis; sisters, Faye Bayles of Clayton and Debra Langston and husband Tony of Princeton; several nieces and nephews; special brother-in-law, Lonnie Wade Smith and special friend, Bobby Hartsfield.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Vernon and Florence Ellis.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10-11 am Thursday prior to the service.
The family wishes to thank the staff at Wake Med in Raleigh and the staff at the Laurels of Forest Glenn in Garner for the many acts of kindness shown to them.
Arrangements are by Montlawn Funeral Home, 2911 S. Wilmington St., Raleigh, N.C. Condolences may be shared in this online guestbook.
