James ("Bobby") Robert Hodges – 79, a proud veteran of the U.S. Navy, passed away on Sunday, December 5th, 2021 at Transitions Hospice in Raleigh, North Carolina. He was surrounded by loved ones in his final days.

James was born to Leon and Josephine("Glover") Hodges on December 12, 1941. James loves spending time at the beach flying kites, building perpetual motion machine and doing jigsaw puzzles with his grandchildren. He cherished time with his family, and grandkid, as he loved nothing more than being surrounded by their laughter and joy. As we grieve his passing, we are also comforted in knowing that he is now at peace with God, mother and father.

He is survived by his wife, Mai Hodges; his stepson and spouse, Tom and Victoria, his grandchildren, Vivian; his brother and spouse, Joe Hodges and Joyce (Joy) Hamilton; his sister, Regina Temple and her family.

He was preceded in death by his father, Leon Hodges, his mother, Josephine (Glover), and his brother, Jerry Hodges.
