Obituary of James Lassiter
James Michael "Mike" Lassiter, 68 of Henderson, N.C., passed away, Tuesday, December 9, 2014 at home.
Born in Vance Co., NC, he was the son of the late Jessie and May Lassiter.
Mike is survived by his daughters, Cindy and son-in-law Robert Carter, and Barbara Lassiter; 6 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild; brothers Ronnie and Danny Lassiter, many nieces and nephews, and his loving wife Elizabeth Roberson Lassiter of 42 years.
Mike worked as an electrician Burkart Manufacturing Co and as a security guard for Variety Wholesale until his health declined. He was also a Navy veteran of 4 years.
Family will receive friends at their home on Thursday, December 11, from 3-7pm and through Sunday, December 14, 2014.
Arrangements are by Montlawn Funeral Home, 2911 S. Wilmington St., Raleigh, NC. The family requests that flowers, condolences, and/or memorial contributions be mailed to: Cynthia Carter, P.O. Box 3118, Henderson, NC 27536.
