GARNER

On Sunday, September 27, 2020, James Harvey Sauls, Sr., of Garner, North Carolina went to be with the Lord.
Mr. Sauls was born on March 15, 1939 in Durham, North Carolina to Wright and Lomie Sauls.
Sauls is survived by his loving wife, Ida Nichols Sauls and his children Julie Lawler, Michael Sauls, James (Jimmy) Sauls Jr., Charles (Timmy) Sauls and Mary Beth Belt; 14 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.  He is preceded in death by his son, Joseph David Sauls and 5 brothers.
A funeral service will be held at 12:00 pm on Tuesday, September 29, 2020 at the Montlawn Funeral Home Chapel, 2911 South Wilmington Street, Raleigh, North Carolina 27603. The family will receive friends one hour before the service. Military Honors will be rendered immediately following the Graveside Service at Montlawn Memorial Park.
