IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Janet Louise
Alford
October 18, 1961 – February 2, 2026
Janet Louise Alford, aged 64, passed away on February 2, 2026, in Angier. She was born on October 18, 1961, in Columbus, Ohio, to Joe Smith and Doris Gilson Smith, both of whom predeceased her.
A devout member of McCullers Community Baptist Church, Janet shared her love of song as a member of the church choir.

Her nieces and nephews held a dear place in Janet's heart, each of them shining as a special part of her life. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Danny Earl Alford.
She is survived by her sister, Carol Ann Allen, of Clayton; her brother-in-law, Ray E. Wilson, and his wife Tracy Lynn Wilson, of Angier, NC; as well as a host of extended family members and dear friends who will miss her deeply.
