Janet M. Campbell, 76, of Garner passed away Monday, February 27, 2017 at her home. She was born December 6, 1940, daughter of the late Raymond and Agnes Williams Campbell.

A Celebration of Life service will be held Sunday, March 5, 2017 at 2:00 PM in the Montlawn Funeral Home chapel in Raleigh.

She is survived by two sons, Tim Graden and wife Mary of Bluffton, SC and Todd Graden and wife Angela of Denver, NC, two sisters, Cathy Hunter and husband David of Sylvania, OH and Marjorie Sussman of Edgewater, NJ, three grandchildren, Kaitlyn Graden, Noah Graden, and Landon Graden, a niece, Shana Sussman, three nephews, John and Chris Hunter and Colin Sussman, and a longtime companion, Bill Malpass.

Janet worked at the Dorothea Dix Hospital Child Outpatient Clinic as a Clinical Social Worker for 34 years and also had a Private Practice until she retired just a few years ago. She was committed to making a difference in the lives of others. Through her work, she formed close friendships with colleagues and social work students who were with her until the end.

She was a beautiful vibrant soul who loved her family unconditionally and cherished the times they had together. She loved her rescue dogs, the mountains and the beach, warm weather, long days and especially being with her grandchildren. The memories she created will live on forever and we will miss her very much.
