Janet Stephenson passed away peacefully in her sleep January 17, 2021. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Marvin, her sister Betty Jean Poole, and her parents, Ralph and Louise Frazier.

Surviving loved ones are her six children, Mike Stephenson, Mark Stephenson, Frank Stephenson, Jean Sandlin, Karen Loveless and Linda Haller. Also, her sons and daughters in laws, Kathy Stephenson, Lori Stephenson, John Sandlin, Jeff Loveless and Tom Haller. She had 8 grandchildren, David, Tim, Virginia, Andy, Anna Frazier, Austin, Miller and Jack. She had 12 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother Lewis Frazier, his wife Ann, and niece Linda and nephew Jeff.

Janet was a loving wife and mother. She and Marvin met at 13 years old as next door neighbors. They married and had six children. They lived a happy life together until his death in 2014. Janet was an avid NC State fan and also an avid Duke fan. They loved watching college basketball games together, though Marvin was an avid UNC fan.

Janet dedicated her life to raising her children and doting on Marvin. She showed her love mostly through food she cooked or bought, made especially for that child. She loved dancing and music. She also loved animals, little things and the color Aqua

She will be greatly missed and remembered fondly.
