Obituary of Janice Jones
Janice Carolyn Burford Jones, 74, passed away, after an extended illness, at Wake Medical Center on Christmas Day, December 25, 2012. Janice was a former resident of Raleigh and Garner. She was born in Paterson, NJ and was raised in New York.
Surviving are her husband, Paul Jones of Clayton; sons, David Kent and family, Les Kent and family, step-son, Scott Jones and family, and step-daughter, Melissa Jones and family; brother, Charles Dilts and family; grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She was a giving person to all that knew her and she enjoyed life with her family to the fullest. She will be loved and missed by all.
In memory and celebration of her life, the family will receive visitors at the home of her step-son and daughter-in-law, Scott and Jamie Jones, 412 Joneshaven Drive, Fuquay Varina, NC on Saturday, December 29, 2012 between 2:00 and 5:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Wake County, 250 Hospice Circle, Raleigh, NC 27607 or SPCA of Wake County, 200 Petfinder Lane, Raleigh, NC 27603.
