Janis Houston Guy, 83, passed away peacefully at William Dunlap Hospice Center in Raleigh on March 20, 2016. She was a loving mother and grandmother who enjoyed being with her family and friends.
Surviving are her daughter, Veronica Norris of Raleigh; grandchildren, Nicholas Norris of Cary and Dale Johnson of Raleigh; great-grandchildren, Haley and Chelsey Johnson of Winston Salem.
She was preceded in death by her son, Michael Guy; her sisters, Ernestine (Teenie) McNeil and Mitzi Aldridge; and her brother George R. Houston, Jr.
A graveside service will be held in the Chapel of Memories Mausoleum at Montlawn Memorial Park on Thursday, March 24, 2016 at 11:00 am.
