Jean Byerly Sullivan, 75, of Louisburg, passed away on Sunday, October 16, 2022 in Louisburg. She was born July 29, 1947 in Rowan County, a daughter of the late James Byerly, Jr. and Mary (Nance) Byerly. Along with her parents, she was also predeceased by her husband Wayne.

Jean graduated from Garner High School in 1965 and later from Hardbager Business College. She worked for many years for BB&T Bank, and later worked at Construction Management & Automotive Parts Association as a bookkeeper. Jean was involved in Girl Scouts for many years, and had a love for arts and crafts of various kinds.

Jean is survived by her daughter, Leah Wooten and her husband, Jay; grandchildren: Abigail and her fiancé, Wesley, Isabel, and Duncan Wooten; sisters: Pam May, Kay Mitchell, Lynn Powell and Sandra Barden, as well as many in-laws, nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 2:30 pm on Saturday, October 22, 2022 at Montlawn Memorial Park, Raleigh, NC.
