Obituary of Jeanette Brown

Mrs. Vickie Jeanette Brown, 47, of Willow Spring, died Wednesday, September 22, 2010 at Rex Healthcare.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday at Montlawn Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends at the funeral home following the service.

A native of Johnston County, Jeanette was born September 4, 1963, the daughter of Jerry and Vickie Barfield of Garner. She was an avid reader, a lover of all animals, an excellent cook but her most important love was that of her husband and her four children.

In addition to her parents, Jeanette is survived by her husband, Michael Brown; daughters, Jessica Anne Brown, Jordin Lashea Jenkins; sons, Jeremy Michael Brown and David Mikel Jenkins, all of the home; sister, Angela Hoover and her husband, Ryan and their children, Whitney Hoover and Riley Hoover, all of Gastonia; her grandmother, Delia Thornton of Newton Grove and her mother in-law, Patsy Brown of Raleigh.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Rex Healthcare, 4420 Lake Boone Trail, Raleigh, NC 27607.
