Obituary of Jerome Rodney
Jerome R. (Jerry) Rodney, 73, passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, March 17, 2013. He was born on January 29, 1940 in Brooklyn, NY.
He is survived by his wife of over 50 years (the love of his life), Toby (Rabinowitz); brother, Steven Rodney and wife Michelle; daughters, Rebecca Lipscomb and husband Brian, Lisa Rodney and husband Mike Rosen; grandchildren, Allyson Knott and husband Graham, Daniel Wohlrab, Zachary Lipscomb, Abigail Lipscomb, Benjamin Rosen, Keren Rosen; great-granddaughter, Adrianna Wohlrab.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 pm Tuesday, March 19, 2013 at Raleigh Hebrew Cemetery, State Street, Raleigh. Shivah will be at Beth Shalom, 5713 Yates Mill Pond Road, Raleigh, NC on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday at 7:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Beth Shalom, Hospice of Wake County or to the charity of one's choice.
