Jerry Michael Burke 62, passed peacefully on November 21st, 2023 to be with his Lord and Savior. He had a strong courageous battle with cancer for 8 years. The family thanks Duke Raleigh hospital (Dr. Garst) for seeing him through this battle. He was surrounded by his loved ones who love him very dearly. He was such a wonderful Papi, Husband, Father, Son, Brother, Father n Law, Brother n Law, friend and Uncle. He always showed he cherished everyone so much. He was a selfless giver to all. Through his songs and benefits he loved doing with his forever friend Danny. The memories shared with his Dad and Ma in Georgia, sisters, nieces, and nephews meant everything to him. Fun times on the four wheeler in N.C. and Christmas and Easter that he spent in Georgia was always his most cherished. He spoke often of this time with his Mother, Step Father, Brother, and Sister in N.C. about all night fishing on the pier during his beach trip times. He enjoyed beach trips with his wife and children fishing and he absolutely loved his woods time in his stand by the railroads, deer watching. He had the cutest Donald Duck impression to any child he met and seeing them smile brought him so much joy. He would do anything for anyone without hesitation while he was well.
