Obituary of Jerry Collins
Jerry Lee Collins, 69, of Raleigh, passed away Sunday morning, January 8, 2012 at Rex Hospital.
A Graveside Service will be held 1:00 p.m. Thursday, January 12, 2012 at Montlawn Memorial Park.
Born September 23, 1942 in Lebanon, MO, Jerry was the son of the late Chester and Bobbie Waterman. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his young daughter, Karee Collins. Jerry was a veteran of the United States Air Force and served two tours in Vietnam.
Jerry is survived by his wife Sonja Collins of Raleigh; children, Tammy Rhinerson and husband Todd, Jerry Collins, II and wife Mindy, Stephen Collins and wife Kellie, all of Springfield, IL, Brandi Brandt and husband Shaun of Linn, MO; 14 grandchildren; brothers, Art Waterman and wife Pam of Murfreesboro, TN, Dan Waterman and wife Carolyn of Raleigh; and half-sister, Sharon Willhalm of Carson City, NV.
