Jessie Beatrice "Bea" Phipps of Raleigh, formerly of Shelby died on November 3, 2018 surrounded by her loving family.

Bea is survived by her husband, Jimmy Thompson, sister, Faye Powell and husband Mike Powell, Daughters, Roxanne P. Coffey and her husband Bobby Coffey, Georgette P. Lesslie and husband Scott Lesslie, step-daughter, Vanessa Thompson.  Grand children, Danielle and husband Matt Johnston, Robey Coffey, Hunter Lesslie, Tori Lesslie, Mackenzie Lesslie, and Great-grandchildren Reina and Asher Johnston.

She is preceded in death by her mother Helen Bost Hardin and father Benjamin Hardin sister Peggy Pellor and first husband Lonnie Phipps.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, November 6 from 2:00 – 3:00 at Montlawn Funeral Home and will be followed by a graveside service at Montlawn Memorial Park(weather permitting – if raining will be held in the Montlawn Chapel).
