Obituary of Jessie Perry

Jessie "Ruth" Wallace Perry, 85 of Raleigh, passed away Sunday afternoon, December 20, 2015 at SECU Hospice House surrounded by her loving family.

Born May 24, 1930 in Wake County, NC, she was the daughter of the late John and Janie Wallace. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Earl T. Perry.

Ruth is survived by son, Mike Perry (Cindy); daughter, Jan Ryals (Charles); grandchildren, Ashley Thompson, Nicole Ryals, and foster child, Dalton; sister, Clara Ellington; and several nieces and nephews.

Ruth was known to many as "TeTa". Her favorite bible verse was Romans 8:39 "nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord".

A Funeral Service will be held 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at Raleigh First Church of Nazarene, 1329 US 70, Garner, NC 27529.

The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 22, 2015 at Montlawn Funeral Home, 2911 S. Wilmington St. Raleigh, NC 27603.
