Jill Marie Witmer, 49, passed away October 21, 2022 at home in Portsmouth, Virginia. She was born in Raleigh, North Carolina on March 13, 1973 to Donna and Edward Walters. She attended Milbrook High School in Raleigh, North Carolina. Jill was a skilled Cosmetologist. Jill furthered her education through multiple institutions such as; Troutman's School of Cosmetology and Johnston Community College.

Jill was a loving mother to five children and a grandmother to three. Jill was a beloved sister and spirited daughter. Jill's favorite place was the beach. On a rainy day, she would curl up on the couch with her fiancé and their three dogs and read a book. Her contagious laughter and vibrant personality filled the room instantly. She left a lasting impression with everyone she met.

Jill is survived by her parents Donna and Edward Walters; brother, Tony Walters, and his wife, Rose; her five children: Jade Gail, Blair Witmer, DJ Witmer, Colby Witmer, Cameron Witmer; grandchildren: Colton Pinkus, Ryker Pinkus, and Ava Gail; her fiancé, Ross Johnson, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends.

The family will receive friends from 1-2 pm, Saturday, November 5, 2022 at Montlawn Funeral and Cremation Services, Raleigh, where a memorial service will begin at 2 pm in the chapel.
