Jim "Jabbo" Alexander, 90, of Wilmington, NC passed away Monday, August 2.  He was passionate about and loyal to his family, friends, and his country.  After serving as a sergeant in the Korean War in the 148th Infantry Regiment in 1952, Jim started Alexander Exterminating Company, where he was owner and operator for over 25 years.  In his early adult years, he was an accomplished amateur golfer in the Raleigh area, and spent countless hours on the Raleigh Golf Association course. Jim was also an avid Harley-Davidson rider and long-time member of the Harley Owners Group (HOG), Coastal Carolina Chapter.

Jim is preceded in death by his wife, Janet Rose Penny, his parents, Jana Rue Poole and Joseph Jackson Alexander, his siblings, Vivian Morris, Lucille Wells, Joseph Alexander, Thurmond Alexander, Clarence Alexander, Phillip Alexander, and Willard Alexander, and his granddaughter, Amelia Rose Watson.  Jim is survived by his two children, James Michael Alexander (spouse, Delynn), and Beth Alexander Matzinger (spouse, Mike), as well as five grandchildren, Mitchell Watson, Alex Watson, Carter Watson, Ellie Alexander, and Lucas Alexander.
