Obituary of Jim Wood

Mr. Jim William Wood, 90, of Raleigh, died May 22, 2009.

Jim was born September 11, 1918, to the late William and Addie Wood. Jim was a member of Caraleigh Baptist Church.

A funeral service will be held Monday, May 25, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. in the Montlawn Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m., prior to the service at Montlawn Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Montlawn Memorial Park.

Jim is survived by his loving wife of 69 years, Frances Pace Wood, of Raleigh, and many loving nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sister, Linda Purdue.
