Obituary of John Cebrick
John "Jack" Mark Cebrick, Jr of Raleigh NC passed away on March 23, 2015 at the age of 70.
Jack is survived by his wife, Dianne Fritz Cebrick; son, John Mark Cebrick III; daughter, Janet Cebrick Adams; daughter-in-law Amy Howard Cebrick; brother David James Cebrick; sister-in-law, Heide Baut Cebrick; grandchildren, Danielle Elaine Cebrick, Tyler Jackson Cebrick and James Joseph Cebrick. He is preceded in death by his father, John Mark Cebrick, and his mother, Dorothy Sobashinski Cebrick.
Jack was born January 13, 1945 in Wilkesbarre PA, and grew up in Plymouth PA. He married Dianne Fritz August 12, 1967. He worked for US Airways as a Customer Service Agent, and after retiring worked at Sam's Club in Raleigh NC. Jack and Dianne had a happy and loving marriage for over 47 years. They welcomed two children into their home and set about teaching them about love, being kind and generous.
Jack was a loving and charismatic individual who loved football games, boating, fishing and telling jokes. He was infamous for his story telling and was passionate about the Carolina Tarheels. Jack was an active and dedicated member of both St Andrew's Catholic Church in Apex NC and The Salvation Army in Raleigh NC. He was the President of both The Men's Club and The Seniors Club of The Salvation Army. One of Jack's best known qualities was he always remembered to acknowledge everyone he came in contact with, always thanking them for the difference they made in his life.
The family would like to thank everyone for their prayers and support over the last four months. A celebration of Jack's Life will be held 2:00 p.m., Saturday, March 30, 2015 at The Salvation Army, 902 Wake Forest Rd Raleigh NC 27604 Major Pete Costas officiating. A reception will follow and all are welcome to attend.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in memory of Jack to The Salvation Army.
