Obituary of John Wesley Morgan

John Wesley Morgan, 91, of Raleigh, died Tuesday morning, April 28, 2009 at Rex HealthCare.

Graveside Funeral Service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Montlawn Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends at Montlawn Funeral Home one hour prior to the service.

A Wake County native, Wesley was a retired building inspector with the City of Wilmington and New Hanover County. He and his late wife Lucille owned and operated Morgan's Antiques in Wilmington for many years.

Wesley was preceded in death by his wife, Lucille Johnson Morgan; four brothers and one sister.

Wesley is survived by his daughter, Eleanor Janice Morgan of Raleigh; granddaughter, Mary Elizabeth Butler of Wilmington; grandson, Benjamin Wesley Butler of Durham..
