Obituary of John Roebuck

John William Roebuck, 68, died Tuesday, July 27, 2014 at Wake Forest Baptist Hospital in Winston Salem. He was a retired vocation teacher with the Governor Morehead School for the Blind with 37 years of service.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday at Hayes Barton Baptist Church. Interment will be held at Montlawn Memorial Park.

Surviving are his wife of 47 years, Mary Ann Roebuck; son, John William Roebuck, Jr., of Raleigh; daughter, Amy Michelle Roebuck of San Diego, CA; four sisters and one brother.

The family will receive friends at the church from 10:00-11:00 a.m. Friday, prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of NC, 401 Harrison Oaks Blvd., Cary, NC 27513 or the SECU Family House, 1970 Baldwin Lane, Winston Salem, NC 27103.
