Obituary of John Watkins
John Henry Watkins, 71, of Garner, passed away Sunday, September 20, 2015 at his home.
Born July 27, 1944 in Wake County, NC, he was the son of the late Herbert Watkins and Lucy Bissett Watkins.
John is survived by his son, Johnnie Pergerson of Conway, NC; daughter Malissa Rivera of Garner, NC; brother, Jody Watkins of Garner, NC; sisters, Ruby Cox and Lucy Mae Tharington of Garner, NC; 5 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren.
A Graveside Service will be held 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 23, 2015 at Rock Springs First Will Baptist Church Cemetery, intersection of Old Highway 264 and Camp Charles Road, Bailey, NC.
Arrangements are by Montlawn Funeral Home, 2911 S. Wilmington St., Raleigh, NC. Condolences can be made at www.montlawn.com
