Obituary of Joyce Wynne

Joyce Braswell Wynne, 74, of Wendell, died Friday afternoon at WakeMed in Raleigh.

A Graveside Funeral Service will be held at 3 p.m. Monday in Montlawn Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends at Montlawn Funeral Home one hour prior to the service.

A native of Franklin County, Joyce was born August 28, 1936, the daughter of the late Roland and Mattie Bowden Braswell. She was retired from Westinghouse with 35 years of service.

Joyce is survived by her son, Ricky Clay and his wife Terri of Bolivia, NC; daughters, Sherry Clay of Knightdale, Vickie Clay of Charlotte, Dianne McBride and her husband Bob of Raleigh; grandsons, Taylor Clay and Stanley Stallings, both of Raleigh, Joshua McBride of Wilmington and a sister, Marion Jenkins of Zebulon. She was preceded in death by her husband, Don Wynne in 2007.
