Juanita Anderson passed away peacefully Christmas Eve morning.  She was a life long resident of Wake County and retired from both North Carolina State University and the Baptist State Convention. In her younger days, she was very active in the Baptist Church where she met and married Earl Anderson.  She is predeceased by her husband, Earl Anderson, and her oldest son Gordon Richard Robertson Jr.  She is survived by her daughters, Gay Stokes and Linda Hurst (Stephen) along with daughter-in-law, Karen Robertson and son, David Robertson (Vickie).  Juanita Anderson was also a loving grandmother and great grandmother and was affectionately known as "Mama Nita" by all of her family.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 3rd at Montlawn Funeral Home located at 2911 South Wilmington St., Raleigh, NC. Visitation will begin at 10:00AM with services at 11:00AM.  In lieu of flowers, please send a donation to Transitions Life Care of Raleigh, 250 Hospice Circle, Raleigh NC or the charity of your choice.
