Kaitlyn Marissa Legg, 21, of Angier NC, passed away on August 7, 2019 at Duke University Hospital after a long battle with pneumonia.  Kaitlyn was born on December 19, 1997 at Betsy Johnson Hospital in Dunn, NC and is survived by her parents Jason and Emily Legg, of Angier.  She is also survived by her grandparents Geoffrey and Donna Legg and Cynthia Willis, of Angier, and her great grandmother Frances Austin, of Garner NC.

Kaitlyn attended Harnett Central High School and was a creative soul who always loved art and animals.  She was known to her friends and family as Kait, KK, and Kaitybug.  We will always remember her smile, beautiful blue eyes and caring personality. Her presence in our lives will be sorely missed.

When you think of Kaitlyn, celebrate the good memories you have of her. Remember that life is fragile and short and should be lived to the fullest.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, August 15 at 2:00 PM at Trinity Episcopal Church, 1128 South Main Street, Fuquay-Varina, NC  27526. A lantern vigil for Kait will be also be held on Thursday, August 15 at 8:30 PM at The Kipling Cross, 6299 Us-401, Fuquay-Varina, NC 27526.
