Obituary of Kathryn Costin

Kathryn Ann Costin, 53, died Monday at Rex Hospital. She attended Garner High School and graduated from Wesleyan College in Rocky Mount. Kathryn was Vice President of Costin Distributing Co. She was an intelligent gifted person, who was very generous making multiple contributions to charity. She enjoyed standing up for the disadvantaged.

Surviving are her father, M. Wesley Costin, Jr. of Raleigh; brother, Miles Wesley Costin, III of Raleigh; sister, Rena Wilson of Raleigh; uncle, Bill Costin of Fayetteville.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Joyce Holland Costin and her brothers, Terrance and Timothy Costin.

A memorial service will be held at 7:00 pm Friday, August 9, 2013 at Montlawn Funeral Home. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
