Mrs. Katie Webber Williams, 90, of Raleigh, NC passed peacefully on Thursday, March 24, 2016 surrounded by her loving family. Katie was born on January 11, 1926 in Greene County, NC to Myrtie and Frank Webber. She was married to Artemus Ralston Williams for 59 years until his death in 2005. Katie worked at Burlington Industries Wake plant for 38 years. She was a member of Longview Baptist Church of Raleigh. She was a loving wife, mother and was affectionately known as "Granny" to her family. Katie is survived by her son and his wife, Tim and April Williams; granddaughter, Makenzie Williams; sisters, Louise Collins, Mildred Mull, Geraldine Register; brother, Arthur Lewis Webber; sister-in-law, Mary Webber and many loving relatives and dear friends. A service of celebration for Katie will be held on Tuesday, March 29, 2016 with visitation at 11:00 am and the funeral service to follow at 12 Noon at the Montlawn Funeral Home Chapel 2911 S. Wilmington, St., Raleigh, NC.
