Kay Y. Dupree, 84, of Raleigh went to be with her Lord on Wednesday, November 7, 2018.  She was born April 6, 1934 in Harnett County daughter of the late Willis Manly Young and Eva Smith Young.  She was also preceded in death by her son, John Manly Dupree.

Mrs. Dupree was a beloved wife, mother and grandmother.

A funeral service will be held Sunday, November 11 at 2:00 PM at Montlawn Funeral Home.  Burial will follow in Montlawn Memorial Park.

She is survived by her husband of 67 years, John Dupree, a son, William Shepherd Dupree and wife Sherry, a daughter, Sherri Ann Potts and husband Kent, five grandchildren, Jason Dupree, Aimee Williams, Dane Dupree, Aaron Potts and Kelly Egtvedt, ten great grandchildren and three sisters, Pearl McLeod, Joann Crowther and Ida Chisenhall.

The family will receive friends Sunday from 12:30 until 1:30 PM at the funeral home.
