Kenneth Royal Lamb

Kenneth Royal "Kenny" Lamb, 61, of Knightdale, died Wednesday February 25, 2009 at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Durham.

A Service of Remembrance will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 7, 2009 in Montlawn Funeral Home chapel with Military Honors. The family will receive friends following the service.

A native of Myrtle Beach, SC, Kenny was a United States Army veteran serving in Viet Nam and in the Army National Guard. He was a member of Living Springs Lutheran Church in Knightdale, American Legion Post #198, VFW Cary Post #7383 and was an avid member of the Triangle Singles Club.

Kenny is survived by his brothers, William S. Lamb, Jr. and his wife, Christel of Columbia, SC, James C. Lamb and his wife, Frances, Danny Ray Lamb, Donny Gene Lamb and his wife , Julie and his sister, Linda Lamb Barnes, all of Myrtle Beach, SC as well as many extended family members.
