Our sweet sister Kim was promoted to heaven on March 26 th , 1 day before her 55 th birthday. She was the youngest daughter of Rev. Ertle & Nadine Lawson .  On September 30, 1983 she married her husband Randy Oakley.

Kim is survived by 3 sons.  Also, survived by her sisters, Karen Thompson (Jimmy), Sherrie Dorrell (Jimmy), Anne Blake & brother Philip Lawson (Ashley).

Kim leaves a beautiful legacy of her love for God, her husband and her family.  We have been so proud of her strength & courage as she battled cancer. Her faith in God and her will to live each day helped her survive 19 months of this terrible disease.

Midway Baptist Church is where she loved to be ministered to & worship. She loved the music & singing in the choir.

A Bible verse she claimed,

Philippians 4: 6-7 Be careful for nothing; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
