Larry Faison (67) passed unexpectedly at home April 30.  His wife of 27 years and truly the love of his life, Margaret Rose Martin Faison was by his side.  Larry was born in Raleigh NC, son of Marie A. Jeffreys and Lee R. Faison Sr.

Larry and Margaret met in 1992, he was working on the remodel of her work building.  All it took was one date (Margaret asked Larry out) and they knew it was meant to be and their hearts become one.   Larry's talents included being able to fix and build most anything from the smallest project or repair, to building a house, and everything he touched was done to perfection.  He was known for helping anyone that needed help, often without being asked.  His dry sense of humor could catch even those that knew him off-guard.  His love of a fast hot rod never waivered from his first 60's Corvette to his '53 Chevy truck restoration, "The Truck".  Most recently working on a special project, a 1929 Chevy, for an incredibly special friend.

Besides his wife, he is survived by two sons, Christopher Faison (Melanie) and William Faison, grandson Jonathan Faison, sister Marcia Tyree (Wayne), and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Lee R Faison, Jr. and William "Bill" C. Faison.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, May 11th at Montlawn at 12:00 noon.
