Laurence Forbes Slack, 92, of Raleigh, NC, passed away peacefully in her sleep on August 11, 2018. Laurence was born in Norlina, NC, the daughter of the late Harry Lee and Rosa Mae Hillard Forbes and wife to the late George Dewey Slack Jr of Raleigh, NC.
Laurence is survived by her daughter, Gayle Barnes, her son and daughter in-law, George and Dawn Slack of Warwick, RI, grandson Stephen Tyler Slack of Wilmington, NC, and granddaughters Sydney and Sierra Slack of Warwick, RI.
