Lena McLamb Stewart Cooke, 82, of Angier sadly left us on December 7, 2022 with family by her side.

She was predeceased in death by her parents James W. and Bertie A. McLamb, husbands: Haywood Stewart after forty-seven years, and Douglas Cooke after six years of marriage.

Lena is survived by her children: James "Frankie" Stewart, (Annette) of Meadow, Jesse "JT" Stewart (Liz) of Benson, Pamela Jackson (Donnie) of Garner, Penny Cullen (Scott) of Angier, William Stewart (Pennie) of Moncure, and Haywood "Bart" Stewart (Rachel) of Benson; siblings: Kenneth McLamb (Anne) of Goldsboro, and Bette Britt (Johnny) of Newton Grove.

A graveside service will be held at 2 pm on Tuesday, December 13, 2022 at Montlawn Memorial Park, 2911 S. Wilmington St., Raleigh, NC 27603.
