Lenora Workman Cochran , fell asleep in death on August 1, 2021 at Duke Raleigh Hospital. She was born on January 16, 1948 to Melba Thompson Workman and the late William R. Workman Sr. She graduated from Carver High School and Business College in Winston-Salem and worked as a keypunch operator at McLeans Trucking and at Western Electric in Winston-Salem and later as a nail technician from her home.

She married the love of her life, Donald Cochran August 18, 1990, and they were happily married for 30 years. Lenora was a very thoughtful and compassionate person. She loved her family and friends with her whole heart. She was kind, generous, and extremely thoughtful in everything she did. She especially enjoyed being a mother and grandmother.

Lenora has a rich theocratic heritage. Her great grandfather, Noah Reynolds was one of the first International Bible Students in Winston-Salem.

She was baptized at 6 years old on December 25, 1954 as one of Jehovah's Witnesses and attended the 1955 convention and the 1958 international convention in New York City. She attended the East Congregation in Winston-Salem and the Central Congregation in Raleigh.

Lenora leaves to cherish her memory, her devoted husband Donald of the home, her loving daughter Veleska LaJean Edwards of Winston-Salem; stepdaughter Allison Cochran of Kissimmee Florida; her mother Melba T. Workman, sister Louise Workman Lindsay, all of Winston-Salem, brother William Workman Jr. (Alice) of Hickory; brother-in-laws John Cochran III and Christopher Cochran of Savannah Georgia; her three grandsons Ryan Mathes (Monique) of Charlotte, Quinn Baker and Collin Baker of Winston-Salem; nephews Robert Workman (Coleen) of Raleigh, Rickey Workman of Hickory, Ashley Lindsay (Denise) of Winston-Salem, Christopher Pressley and Santana Cochran of Savannah; nieces Sonya Catlett (Tim) of Raleigh, Madinah Quarterman, Natasha Cochran, and Christina Cochran of Savannah; and cousin Frances Manning a 1957 Gilead graduate and special pioneer in Augusta Georgia.

Along with her family and friends, Lenora will be greatly missed by her many spiritual brothers and sisters.
