Obituary of Lenora Sharp
Lenora E. Sharp, 80, of Raleigh passed away Wednesday morning, June 19, 2013 at her home. She was retired from Corning/AVX of 35 years.
The Funeral Service will be held 2:00 p.m., Saturday, June 22, 2013 at Montlawn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Montlawn Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends 7-9 p.m., Friday, June 21, 2013.
Born June 1, 1933, Lenora is the daughter of the late Hector and Katie Stewart. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Sharp and son Tony Sharp.
Lenora is survived by her sons, Donald Sharp of the home, Ronald Sharp and his wife Gina of Garner, Steve Sharp and wife Regina of Raleigh; daughter-in-law, Mary Sharp of Raleigh; grandchildren, Kellie, Robbie and Adam; great-grandchildren, Kristin and Austin; special niece, Deborah Martin; nephew, Danny Ashman; brother, Boat Barefoot; sisters Geneva Massengill and Elizabeth "Sis" Harrell.
The family would like to extend a special Thank you the staff at Hospice of Wake County.
