ROCKY MOUNT

Lenord (Dusty) R, Marshall, Jr. 63, of Rocky Mount, was born in Stantonsburg,North Carolina and was the son of Janis Snipes Corn and Lenord (Bruce) R, Marshall, Sr. Dusty was a graduate of Southern High School.

Dusty & I lived in Elm City, NC until the age of 7, raised by our mother and wonderful maternal Grandparents. We then moved to the Raleigh/Durham Area with our mother and stepfather, Rev. Edward H. Corn.

We had so much fun as children, always playing outside usually until dark.  Later around the age of 12, Dusty's passion for motorcycles and dirt bikes began and we spent countless hours riding and creating trails, later cars were his passion.

Dusty was a loving father to both his daughters, Juliana and Jessica. They were his pride and joy. He was completely devastated when Jessica passed away on 07/13/2022.

Dusty spent most of his career in Sales for Advance Auto Inc. for almost 25 years, where he worked as a Regional Sales Manager.

Dusty was a wonderful brother and a loyal friend.  You never left his home, without him sending you home with something.  Dusty was an excellent southern style country cook.  He always enjoyed Thanksgiving as he said it was about family and good food.

Surrounded by love, he peacefully went to his heavenly home to be with his precious (Daughter) Jessica Carol Marshall, (Mother) Janis Corn, (Father) Lenord "Bruce" Marshall Sr., (Stepfather) Reverend Edward Corn, (Nephew) William "Bj" Perkins Jr. and (Uncle) Jimmy Snipes. Dusty leaves behind family and friends who will miss him greatly.  A memorial tribute service will be held on Wednesday, March 2 nd at 2:00 PM at Montlawn Memorial Park.
