Obituary of Leona Alford
Leona R. Alfred, 90 of Wake Forest, passed away, Sunday morning, December 28, 2014 at Universal Healthcare Raleigh.
Born in Marlboro Co., SC, she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Oma Hannah. Leona is survived by her only living sister Virgie Long and her three sons Thomas Burnett and wife Joan, Harold Burnett and Steve Burnett and wife Diane. Leona is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grand children and nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made in memory of Leona to Liberty Hospice, 3200 Spring Forest Road, Raleigh, NC 27616.
A Memorial Service will be held 10:00 a.m., Friday, January 2, 2015 at Montlawn Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel.
The family would like to express their sincere gratitude for the love and care provided by the staff at Universal Health Care and Liberty Hospice of Raleigh.
