Obituary of Lillian Mclean

Lillian Bordeaux McLean, 75, of Raleigh, died Monday evening, May 24, 2010 at Rex Healthcare.

Funeral Service will be held 11 a.m. Friday at Montlawn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Montlawn Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6-8 p. m. Thursday.

A native of Wake County, Lillian was born January 2, 1935, the daughter of the late Milton and Lillian Brown Bordeaux. She was the manager and receptionist at Ridgewood Beauty Shop for many years and was a member and choir member of Trinity United Methodist Church. Lillian loved gardening, flowers and her Saturday shopping days with her sisters.

Lillian is survived by her daughters, Vivian M. Waggoner and her husband Kent of Raleigh, Teresa M. Baucom and her husband Tony Parker of Knightdale; sisters, Jean Gray and her husband Bob, Gerri Belk; sisters and brothers in-law, Sylvia and Leonard Hocutt, Dickie and Kay McLean; grandchildren, Alexis Hodge, Laura Baucom, Nichole Waggoner, Diana Wolfe and five great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Eunie A. McLean, Jr., sister, Faye Edwards and her sister in-law, Marguerite Stephenson.
