Linard B. Bailey, 93, passed away Wednesday, February 23, 2011. Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, February 27, 2011 at 2:30 p.m. at Tabernacle Baptist Church, Raleigh with Dr. Wayne Hager and Dr. Mark White officiating. Burial will follow at Montlawn Memorial Park with military honors. Family will receive friends Saturday evening at Montlawn Funeral Home from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. Mr. Bailey is survived by his daughters; Linda B. Dupree and husband, Timothy of Raleigh and Patricia B. Williams and husband, Kevin of Archer Lodge; son, Richard E. Bailey of Knightdale, grandchildren; Sonia Gibbs of Ayden, Casey Dupree of Wilmington, Megan Dupree of Raleigh, Robert Bailey of Zebulon, Morgan Doyle of Archer Lodge, Madison Dupree of Raleigh, Cameron Doyle of Raleigh, and Kymberlee Bailey of Selma, one great-granddaughter, Taylor Bailey of Zebulon, sister, Madie Pittman of Raleigh. He was preceded in death by his wife of 33 years, Peggy Louise Bailey. Flowers are welcome. Arrangements are by Montlawn Funeral Home, 2911 S. Wilmington St., Raleigh, N.C.
