Obituary of Linda Holleman

Linda Hardy Holleman, 70, of Garner, died Sunday morning, January 16, 2011.

Funeral Service will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday at Shiloh Baptist Church, 3414 N. Shiloh Rd., Garner. Entombment will follow in the Chapel of Memories Mausoleum at Montlawn Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Montlawn Funeral Home.

A native of Raleigh, Linda was born September 5, 1940, the daughter of the late William Clinton Hardy and Charlotte Bell Fuller Hardy. Linda was a 30 year survivor of two different types of cancer showing determination, grace and an unwavering faith along her journey. Most importantly, she was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend.

Linda is survived by her husband of 50 years, James B. "Jimmy" Holleman; son, Dr. Jim Holleman of Tryon; daughter, Amy Loseke and her husband Philip of Garner and her beloved grandchildren, Joshua, Kara, Benjamin, Jordan and Cameron. Linda was preceded in death by her infant brother, William Clinton Hardy, Jr.

The family wishes to offer their sincere thanks and gratitude to the Doctors and medical staff of the Duke Raleigh Cancer Center and The Laurels of Forest Glenn for the compassionate care they provided Linda.
