Linda Sorrell McDaniel, 68, of Garner passed away Saturday, March 04, 2017 at Wake Medical Center in Cary. She was born October 5, 1948 in Durham County daughter of the late Norwood and Ina Smith Sorrell. She was preceded in death by a brother, Oliver Sorrell and a sister, Faye Rigsbee.

A funeral service will be held Wednesday, March 8th at 1:00 P.M. in the Montlawn Funeral Home chapel in Raleigh.

She is survived by one son, Dale Schriver and wife Renee of Lexington, SC, two daughters, Kimberly Robuck and husband Ross of Raleigh and Angela Young and husband Michael of Garner, two brothers, Allen Sorrell and wife Kay of Greensboro and Tommy Sorrell of Wilmington, and seven grandchildren, Brandi Langley, Kelsey Schriver, Harley Schriver, Nicholas Robuck, Madison Robuck, William Robuck, and Christian Young.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, March 7th from 6:00 - 8:00 P.M. at Montlawn Funeral Home.
