Obituary of Linda Moore

Linda Kelly Moore, 69, of Raleigh, died Saturday evening, March 3, 2012 at her home.

A Graveside Funeral Service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at Montlawn Memorial Park with Military Honors.

The family will receive friends at Montlawn Funeral Home from 12 Noon - 1 p.m. Thursday prior to the service.

A native of Wilson, Linda was the daughter of the late Jerome Clinton Kelly and Mildred Stancil Kelly. She proudly served in the United States Marine Corps from 1961 - 1964 before joining the North Carolina Division of Forest Resources where she remained until her retirement. Semper Fi!

Linda is survived by her daughter, Kristy Moore Martel of the home; step children, Debbie Hodge of Virginia, Danny Moore of New Bern, Teresa Moore of Four Oaks, her beloved grandchildren, Hannah Martel and Ty Peppers; step-grandchild, April Hodge; brothers, Carlton Kelly of Clinton, Glen Kelly of Wilson, Alfred "Butch" Kelly of West Jefferson, and her sisters, Rose Southern of Raleigh and Ann Etheridge of Burlington. Linda was preceded in death by her husband, Henry McDonald Moore in June 2010.
