Linda W. Spivey, 70, of Raleigh passed away Saturday, April 14, 2018.  She was born November 11, 1947 in Harnett County, daughter of the late Earl C. and Loma Hairr Williford.  She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Lisa Smith.

Mrs. Spivey's greatest accomplishment was her family and she loved spending time with them at their place at the beach.  Her fondest memories were the birth of all of her grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held Wednesday, April 18 ^th at 11:00 A.M. in the Montlawn Funeral Home chapel.  Burial will follow in Montlawn Memorial Park.  The family will receive friends Tuesday evening, April 17 ^th from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.

She is survived by her husband, James R. "Jimmy" Spivey, her children, Terry James of Erwin, Angela Cashwell and husband Robby of Coats, Andy Spivey and wife Jackie of Fuquay-Varina, Sharon Edwards and husband Jack of Garner, her sisters, Earline Goodwin of Maryland, Dorinda Strother of Franklinton and Charlotte Williford of Delaware, grandchildren, Melissa, Kyle, Damon, Raelee and Samantha, and a great grandson, Xavier.
